Interactive Literacy & Cultural Workshop
Through Memory, We Imagine Tomorrow.
The workshop introduces children to myths, legends and heroes from around the world. Through storytelling, discussion and creative activities, children explore how different cultures have used stories to explain the world, before discovering the Yoruba Òrìṣà at the heart of the Children of the Stars series. The workshop concludes with children working together to create their own mythological stories.
Alliance Française Lagos — July 2026

The children participated in a Children of the Stars reading, discussion and Q&A before working in groups to create their own mythological stories, followed by a book signing and group photograph.
